Set in ‘the Tuscany of France’, you’ll be surrounded by vineyards in a rural area between Bordeaux and Toulouse.
Our concept is to provide a safe space for families to use as a base for your holiday. A place you can come to with peace of mind that the house is adapted to the needs of your child, that your child’s special needs will be understood and where you may, if welcome, also benefit from Sonia’s specialist knowledge and connections.
We know that parents sometimes avoid taking holidays, due to being uncertain of what reception they will receive and whether the location will be safe for their child. We welcome up to four families a year (with an autistic child between 2-6 years old), for a one week stay over the summer period (June to September) to give you an opportunity to take a break from the everyday.
We understand your little one(s) may in fact prefer to stay at home, with the knowns and the routines, rather than travel to somewhere new. So we have created this website as much for them as for the parents, so that the whole family can become as familiar as possible with what to expect when they arrive at La Beaujardine. We also schedule a pre-call with you, to talk through any special needs and some of the logistical details.
